Upcoming Auditions: "For the Love of Dog"

​​The Stage at Burke Junction is casting for the family friendly, For the Love Of Dog, a full-length, people-powered, dog-loving story show, written and directed by Bill Glasser.
We are looking for two cast members to play the following roles, please note each actor will play multiple roles detailed below. Please be prepared to share any dance moves you may have. Both roles call for a few simple dance numbers.

Female any race or age Plays 2 parts:
Role 1: Ralphie, a 17-year-old pug mix who is the arthritic nemesis to our lead, Bags, a 165 lb therapy mastiff.
Role 2: Olanna: An outdoorsy country gal, who likes to run every morning, and is not afraid of teaching manners to Bags.
Male any race or age Plays 3 parts:
Role 1: A helpful and concerned San Diego County Sheriff named Jim.
Role 2: Dr. Lov, a Rottweiler mix, whose excellent counseling, and prescriptions are a Dogsend for San Diego’s hardest working therapy dogs, please be prepared to speak with a Russian and/or Eastern European accent
Role 3: Uncle Bob, an overworked, stressed out Sacramentan, who works in technology from home, and shouldn’t own a big dog, or any dog for that matter.
